Contemporary Breaking Workshop

Contemporary Breaking is nothing new: it can be seen on stages and in theaters all around the world. I was incredibly inspired when I witnessed the contemporary and breaking worlds collide on my European travels: each has so much to offer the other. This workshop serves as a platform where I facilitate and guide contemporary dancers and bboys/bgirls in bringing elements (emotions, moves, tempo, etc) of the other style into their own dance. The purpose is twofold: to give insights into a new way of thinking about your dance (whether that is breaking or contemporary) using the lens of the other style, and also to serve as a bridge between dancers from each style and get them moving and sharing in the same room at the same time.
